The Texas Hill Country in spring is one beautiful ride. Native wildflowers burst forth to remind us that Jesus taught us, "Do not to worry about your life, what you will eat, drink, or wear. See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his spendor was dressed like one of these." "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:28-29, 33)

Cold temps yielded while seven riders made a Sunday afternoon excursion down the Red River to Lock & Dam #1. LA 1196 meandered along the levee to serve up plenty of curves. Our Lord again blessed CROP with a fine winters day ride.

Fellowship in Christ builds a special bond of love.

After a scenic fall ride along Bayou's Boeuf, Cocodrie, and Courtableau, ten bikes and twenty-one participants enjoyed historic Washington, LA, founded in 1720. The Old Schoolhouse Antique Mall gave us a glimpse of our recent past, while the Steamboat Warehouse Restaurant filled our senses with scenes dating back to the 1800's when Washington was the largest inland port between New Orleans and St. Louis. The scrumptous cajun flavored cooking was a highlight and sent everyone home well content with a wonderful night full of Christian love and fellowship.
