This was a great experience. Some of us teamed up with the VOA and donated some time to serve families in our area who are raising their grandchildren. Every story is different and all the kids are special and loved. It was fun letting the kids come check out the motorcycles and sit on them for the first time in their life. We got to serve these families and sit and visit with them for a while. On lady is raising her great grandsons, and another is raising 7 of her grandchidlren. These are special people and all the volunteers that help with this program are blessed.

We had a great weekend with Dave Anderson again teaching the Top Gun Motorcycle School. This was CROP's 2nd time to sponsor Top Gun Training. We had 11 men who came out to learn some new techniques and sharpen their riding skills. It was a great success. All of us left with much more confidence in ourselves and our bikes. We did some things we didn't think we could do, but with the right training, it was possible. Thanks to all who participated.

An estimated 600 bikers attended the rally. We have some good advicate in Baton Rouge trying to stiffen the laws on when someone fails to yield and costs someone else their life. Like the Police Chief of Baton Rouge said, "w...e just want to leave our house, go take our ride, enjoy our ride, and make it back home. Just watch for us."

When HD of BR scheduled a benefit for Louis's medical expenses, CROP didn't hesitate to travel for the cause. With Angel Food to deliver, eight bikes and one car brought 15 who enjoyed the beautiful temps and scenes of springtime Louisiana. As one of Louis's family members I want to say "thank you CROP for sharing your love in so many thoughtful words and ways".
